Lime Rock Park-Mazda Corral

OK I think I see the source of the confusion. What Marlon posted above is a copy/paste of an excerpt of an email correspondence with the track:

"GAGTMAZDAFRI $15.00
GAGTMAZDASAT $25.00
GAGTMAZDAMON $40.00
GAGTMAZDAWKND $60.00

The pricing you see on the website is for tickets only, and the $5.00 extra is for the car corral parking. At this time car corral tickets can only be ordered by phone per my instructions in the first email I sent to you. Regarding parade laps, we would be able to accommodate you on Friday the 23rd and Saturday the 24th, but not Monday."

Marlon posted it to:

1. Update on pricing and give the affiliate codes that we shall be using to order.

2. Show that we are communicating with the track to come up with the most convenient method of ordering our corral tickets for our members.

3. Confirm what days the track can accommodate our parade laps.

I hope this clears things up.

I am assuming at some point I will be able to order the weekend ticket including corral pass online. Correct? I know Lime Rock Park has a new Ticket & Promotions Coordinator and things are a bit slow but gee wiz... Before they know it 100+ people will be calling in for their tickets and they'll be swamped. I guess I shouldn't worry-- it's not my problem anymore. Ha.

I totally agree. We have to effectively communicate to the track that setting up an online ordering page for us is a win-win for all involved. It frees up precious personnel resources for the track while at the same time delivering quick and timely customer service.

Same here. Please refer to my previous post. We don't want members searching through pages to figure this all out.

Thanks.

Call the Track Office toll free at 1-800-RACE-LRP or 860-435-5000. The Track Office is open Monday thru Friday from 9a.m. - 5p.m. Just tell the person answering the phone that you would like to order tickets and your call will be directed to either the Administrative Assistant, Heather or the Ticket and Promotions Coordinator Mike.

I hope this helps.

Lime Rock Park really seems to be fumbling on this whole thing..

Will we be given a corral parking pass in addition to our weekend ticket? Or will the weekend ticket have "Mazda Corral" noted on it? I am only asking because I remember last year someone coming up to me and telling me about how his tickets were ripped up when he entered the track. The track often times does this if people are camping-- they take the ticket and issue a wristband & camping pass instead. Those who are camping this year will most likely experience something similar if this does not get resolved properly. If someone is camping and they don't have their corral pass (but a wristband), how will they enter the corral? Did LRP have personnel checking tickets last year as you all parked on the Skid Pad?

We will have a list of all of the attendees and Lime Rock will also let us know who has purchased tickets as well, so we can match them up. I have asked for a special ticket that denotes Mazda Corral on it.

I will be in a conference call with Mazdaspeed Motorsports on Wedneday to finalize things for the event. Also, since there is no car show this year, Iwas wondering if we can have a cruise and Bar B Q on Sunday?

What do you guys think? We can start a separate thread for this. I will see if I can get some of the drivers to participate.

For those of you that have ticket related questions, I suggest you contact Lime Rock Park directly. Again, the toll free number is 1-800-Race-LRP. Or if you'd like, you can email your inquiries the Ticket & Promotions Coordinator Mike O'Flinn at Mike.O@LimeRock.Com. I'm sure he would be happy to help.

Remember organizing these meets is no easy task-- it takes a lot of time and effort. Not that it was ever insinuated that it wasn't but still... it's just something to keep in mind.

Marlon,

I completely forgot to mention that the Grand-Am GT Classic this year will only be a three day event, with no activity on Sunday, 25 May. Hemmings Motor News, who ran the car show, chose to focus on another event in Vermont that same weekend. I apologize if this news causes any issues for you. That being said, the adjusted pricing and affiliate codes are as follows:

GAGTMAZDAFRI $15.00

GAGTMAZDASAT $25.00

GAGTMAZDAMON $40.00

GAGTMAZDAWKND $60.00

Additionally, we have hired Mike OFlinn as our Ticketing and Promotions Coordinator, and I have copied him above. He has worked at Lime Rock Park for several years as a summer intern, and we are happy to have him aboard full-time. You may direct any questions concerning tickets to him. I am happy to work with you on the hospitality specifics when you are ready.

Best regards,

Alex
