On another note: we are currently in the design phases of a new Hampton Inn Hotel in Torrington. Good news for next years event

thats cool, i wanna do a project car to...i was thinking of keeping my protege and maybe when i buy a new mazda in the next yr+ strip the pro and make strictly a track car...build a motor..mannual tranny...do it up!

any word on tickets...there was talk back a few posts about special ticket prices, but later the post about prices was the same as on the LR site (actually, the site is $5 cheaper for the whole weekend?)

That's the regular admission and that technically doesn't get you entry to the corral. Considering all the extras we get for $5 extra, it's not a bad deal.

I don't think our corral ticket ordering site is up yet, but stay tuned for updates from either me or Marlon.

Who's going Friday through Monday? or Just Saturday through Monday?

I'm going to try Friday through Monday. Depends on how work is on Friday. I'm going to have to play it by ear. But, definitely Saturday through Monday.

I have sent an e mail to LRP concerning the tickets as well. I will have updates next week, as I am trying to get Tri-Point or Tindol to bring a Show car for member piccs.

The pricing you see on the website is for tickets only, and the $5.00 extra is for the car corral parking. At this time car corral tickets can only be ordered by phone per my instructions in the first email I sent to you. Regarding parade laps, we would be able to accommodate you on Friday the 23rd and Saturday the 24th, but not Monday.

Parade Laps Friday and Saturday, should be a lot of fun on Saturday! We will be working on further details with the track next week.

I am assuming at some point I will be able to order the weekend ticket including corral pass online. Correct? I know Lime Rock Park has a new Ticket & Promotions Coordinator and things are a bit slow but gee wiz... Before they know it 100+ people will be calling in for their tickets and they'll be swamped. I guess I shouldn't worry-- it's not my problem anymore. Ha.
