well I just hit 600 miles which mazda recomends not flooring it for, you know the typical break in period, such and such. But today i finally got there,

first..second..third(drive2) "omg...way more boost"(alright)..o theres my turn(step on the brakes)(10)

Well i can surely say that the MS3 would have SPANKED(idhitit) my MSP(upyours)

HAHA! Glad you like it man! Was so hard for me to not gun it when I bought it. I did hit boost in those <600 miles, but not hard. Yeah, you're going to love it!

Good luck with the inserts install. Does not take too long. A buddy and I did it in about 30 minutes. You do have to roll the engine towards the front of the car in order to get the mount out, then just install them bad boys and do the same thing to get it back in. Much harder to get it back in as the inserts do fill in a lot of space. Just pull the engine forward even harder. Hopefully you workout as you will be fatigued by this :)

cool, I cant wait to get there myself, hopefully by the end of next week. this car just asks you to floor it in 3rd and 4th.

Hey dirtyd it looks like we will have the same setup, (once mazda figures out the CAI thing) do you like how the car performs? And if im gona use a lift (friend works at a dealer woot woot lol) could i still pull the engine forward like your saying, cause i haven't been under this car yet so idk what s*** looks like.

Sorry man...I got busy at work on Friday, and wasn't able to respond. Looks as if you installed those inserts and are loving them! I love the way the car performs. I too need to figure out the CAI thing, as I've had mine in for about 5,000 miles. Have not had any CELs with it, and I love the BPV sound. You'll find yourself giving people the BPV sound as you pass them on the highway! HAHA! Suckers! Yeah, our cars are pretty similar, atleast for now. Gotta get my stealthback installed soon...

Any thoughts on the TWM shifter bushings? They are only about $30 and I'm thinking they are worth it. Let me know what you think.

i did them along with a short shifter in my friends 07 eclipse (shifters look exactly the same...weird) but im not sure if i want to do a short throw in this car because its a daily driver and i need to do my best to keep it that way. but i was thinking about these bushings also. not a hard install nore alot of money at all. I read a post talking about someone who just did the bushings and liked them. maybe its something we should try. it cant hurt anything. and it 30 bucks.

as far as the bpv, you have just the blue spring in there?

Yeah, the throw in this shifter is short enough, it doesn't need to be shorter. The $30 bushings I think are worth it. I've heard they really help you notice when you lock into a gear as well as smooth out the shifting. I have the stock BPV, so whatever that has in there. I have not looked at it too closely...yet. I'm thinking of getting the turboxs HBOV, but will recirculate. I'm just not sure yet on that. How does the forge BPV compare? There have been people saying that they are not holding boost because of the stock BPV opening and dropping down to 12psi. I think my car is doing it now as well as sometimes I feel like the car is a little slower than before. A dashhawk would be nice. Perhaps that will be my next new toy.

This car is also my daily driver, however I dont rip around it in too often. Occasionally on the on ramps, but thats it...

same here. i know when to have fun and when not to. and it took me a while to realize this but you cant have a race car and a street car. it just doesnt work.
