that media tank thing looks weird. i have a hard time imagining all of that stuff running well over USB. i assume it has its own power source correct?

I would think it would. Correct me if I'm wrong, but USB can only power 5V where as the hard drive and optical drive require 12V each. So, i can only assume that it has a power cable. I'll do more research.

edit: Emailed thinkgeek. There is an AC power supply.

you're probably right. if it somehow draws power from the comp i'd say you'll want a slightly larger power supply, if it has its own then you'll be fine
