I am surprised moroso has been open as long as it has. I've seen people die there.
launch around 3k rev all the way up til 6k in first then drop it into 2nd and let the fun begin =P
Why would they close it? It's a dangerous sport and someone is destined to 'check out' at some point. I've seen some pretty close calls over there but thankfully no deaths . Was it a top fueler, jet car or speed bike the person(s) died on?
this is south florida. the law suit capital of the world!
edit: it was just a dude in a cobra. he flipped it like 3 times and went into the swamp.
I've seen a white cobra there run 7s, I hope it's not that guy. Anyway the track is barricaded on both sides so he must've overran the track by a good bit or something. Or this was a long long time ago.
Anyway I'm pretty sure the paper work that each driver signs before racing immunizes the track from any lawsuits unless they didn't enforce the helmet or roll cage rule when they should've.
