Anyone with this set up? In cold?

I have found relative threads on this topic but can't totally get my question answered, I am also looking for some MS3 drivers with this set up that live in somewhat same conditions.

I currently have a MS CAI, I want to get the CP-E DP or the TBE. I was reading about fuel cut even with just Intake and DP/TBE in cold weather. Is there anyone around here that has this set up that lives in near same conditions? I was under the impression fuel cut only happened when you had the standback and up boost levels? After being told that simple Intake and DP/TBE set up will cause fuel cut in cold weather, I don't know what to do? If I get the CP-E CAI with the CP-E DP/TBE, will the same problems arise?

Temperatures here are currently -15 C, in F I am not completely sure. Then in summer it can be 90 plus C. I'm sorry if my answer was easily searched and found, but I honestly did search and just couldn't find a specific answer. I really want this set up but it isn't worth getting, if I'm going to run into problems. If someone could help me that would be great.
 
I have a MSCAI and I am getting a TBE in spring. So far I have no problems. There shouldnt be any problems. I live in MA so my temps are decently close to yours. you should be fine. I also have a friend with a FMIC, full exhaust and more and he's also fine. tune it up!!!!
 
Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated. I thought my fun was ruined, and was pissed haha. I figure if I don't go messing with the boost levels, IE Standback I should be fine. Now just to decide if I should get the full TBE or just the DP and save some money? Anyone know of a supplier for CP-E in Canada, shipping from SU is like 300 for the full TBE?

Anyone else please feel free to chime in with your experiences with this set up in cold temps, thank you!
 
Give PG (Protg Garage) a call for the CP-E TBE or DP... Ken gave me a great price...lower than anyone else online!!!!

Also, I would recommend to get the full TBE at one time...it's cheaper if you buy the packaged deal.

I bought mine separately and I ended up spending more money. (smash)(sad2)
 
Yes that is a typo - sorry geez haha. I know the temps above 0 in F but wasn't sure below in F. Thanks for pointing out my ignorance tho, haha.
 
btw i like the pic in your sig. your car look great. anywho...I putting a custom tbe 3" with only a mini high flo cat in the spring. should be siiiick as hell. just go with the whoe TBe not the DP because the tbe will give you round 40 hp or so and theres not nearly a gain with just the dp. oh and btw i got wind of a new mount for the differential that glues the wheels to the ground with an added 30 tq to the ground. saw it in the 6 forum. you should get one of those when they make them for our car. imagine 30 more tq along with other mods from a roll?? holy ****.
