Forge Valve install/impressions

My 2 cents here.

Powerslave, butt dynos can lie. Butt dynos can have nothing to do at all with your butt, but often your head. I usually go through the following feeling when I upgrade my car; "zomg, I just debadged my car and I swear it's quicker now that it's not being weighed down".

It would be an interesting experiment to put you into your own car and run a blind taste test of sorts. Once with VTA and the other time without and see if you can tell us which is which. I guess we'd have to throw earplugs at you as well, this isn't a test for cheating. :-)

I want someone to log the IAT sensor with a VTA and recirc valve and post the results.

also, I'll take a #1 supersized with a mr pibb.

i know what you mean about the placibo affect.. i tried to be aware of that but it really did pull harder. One evidence of that is that road by my work i daily break the tries loose in second but not third. When i was in vta the tires come loose in third? wouldn't this be partial evidence that its not in my head?

flawed data? I found the thread YOU mentioned earlier that was talking about temps at different points in the system, then actually READ it, and then, all of a sudden, holy s***, the data is "flawed" when it doesn't support your WILD claims?

You're an idiot. Good luck with your turbo magazine.

the small amount of air that goes back to the intake will make ABSOLUTLEY NO DIFFERENCE to the temp the air will be when it make it into the manifold. the air leaving the turbo is around 275 degrees, then it goes through the IC. that recirced air is going to get heated to the same temp as the "fresh" air you say does wonders. there is no benefit to VTA is any situation.
congrats on your standback....honestly.

i mixed what i read with the fact the i can break the tires loose in third in vta and not in recuric... to form this opinion

you said your new valve was holding more boost. that's all there is to it. I don't know why you're not getting that.
