What have you done to your P5 today?

they look like s*** because the stupid dealer put P5 heat range plugs into the MSP....dumbasses.... this is why i do it myself now lol

That is good to hear. I am running the stock now (changed back in October) but have thought about switching to the z plugs.

Not sure if you bought the coilpacks yet or even need them. When I bought mine I just called the local Napa. IIRC they were about $25 each.
 
adnanced intake cam 2degrees and advanced exhaust cam 1degree. Got a little more low end now which is cool cuz i dont like to rev so high anymore. One cracked block was good enough for me. Maybe after i put about 50k more miles ill start to abuse it a bit.
 
Mechanic called. Number 4 plug now looks like the pic I posted of number 3. And, he can hear something bouncing around in the engine. Just ran home and brought him my stock intake to swap back on before he calls the Warranty people. I'll post back up when I hear something else.

Oh man....best of luck with it. What a coincidence that Jeffrey just posted as well. His white P5 with blacked out headlights is the one I mentioned in the other thread. lol
 
So today, MOD #1 happened :) i came home from the cyclones game (ECHL Hockey 10 AM game thanks to education in hockey day) and what's this at my door? my K&N Typhoon CAI!!! so of course I head down to the garage and get to work. Of course it wouldnt be a first mod to a new car if you didnt break something, Theres a plastic valve thing with a sensor that has two rubber hoses coming out of it, well i was supposed to replace the stock F bracket with K&N's L bracket and well, while trying to loosen the bolt, i hear CRACK and i broke one of the pastic runners, but lucky enough i pulled the broken end of the tube out of the hose and just slid the hose over the remaining plastic housing (no CEL yet, but want to find a replacement)

I didn't have my jack with me so I only did the SRI portion of the CAI, when I get my jack later today from my parents house im going to finish the job, but my god, theres so much better throttle response I love it, and the red looks awesome in the Engine bay

However, K&N didnt do a very good job making everything fit together well, I didnt even use the Z bracket to support the MAS :/ oh well.

I know i know, "worthless without pics" i promise ill get pics up one of these days
