Navigation screen tapping accuracy

Radio frequencies

Hello Everybody :)

I live in the Netherlands and just bought a CX-9 GT through import.
GREAT CAR!!! Not available in the Netherlands they say... Ha!

Problem I have here is that almost all radiostations transmit on even decimal frequencies (eg 96.2, 102.4 etc.) and the nav-radio only searches for odd decimal frequencies (eg 100.7 etc.)
Then I found this topic about a hidden (naughty) menu. Did anyone find something about changing this?

I can't test this yet, the car is still in customs...

PS My dealer does not know either, we are both pioneers in this (wink)

I am not aware of any hidden menu trick to solve your problem, but this is a known issue and there are solutions.

Check this out: http://www.edl.co.nz/ConvertersHP/pb1500.htm, or Google for other FM frequency shifters/converters.

Good luck!

Lexx,

I have the 2008 and there's no Dimmer switch or any option in settings to dim.
I can set the display to Auto, Day or Night mode and then alter the brightness or contrast within each, but that's it.

If I have it set to DAY and turn on the lights the display gets significantly dimmer. If I check the settings with lights on and off they do seem to have different settings but if I set both to the same brightness and contrast the display is still dimmer with the lights on which makes me think there's an additional setting somewhere that cannot normally be accessed. The same also applies in NIGHT. With AUTO it dims and also changes the background.

You can press (not turn) the dimmer switch (next to the tach) and it will override the nav screen light and gauges. See section 5-40 of the owner's manual.
