Hey guys , I mostly lurk on here because I don't have my mazda3 yet . I am looking to buy a 2004-05.

I went to a dealership by my house and test drove a mazda3 sedan s.
WOW is all I have to say, I would have bought it but it was way overpriced for an 04 lol. It drives super nice. I have a 92 cutlass supreme rotting in my garage and it has a v6 engine. the 3 almost felt like I was driving a v6. super smooth tho. My cutlass is ruff hahah. I also just drove my friend Monte Carlo SS and the 3 felt similar IMO.

I can't wait to get my newer but used car (flash)

Welcome! And have fun when you get your 3. The're a few freebie mods you can do right away. Taking off the side moldings will help with the styling, gutting the airbox will help a little with performance, and making a stubby antenna will also help with the looks as well.

It was a 04 with 25k miles for the low low price of 18,999 !!!!!!!!!!!
It had leather and sunroof but I would not buy a 04 for 18k , I can get an 06 or 07 for that price with less miles lol

Asking price is not what you should expect to pay out the door. Go back and hammer them down. That's how you get a MS6 for $22K.

I did tell the sales guy its too expensive and the average price for an 04 is around 15k. He would not budge on the price plus I saw scratches and a small dent on the car. He was trying to make me buy it but he was not working with me. I will wait to see what else I find I didn't like the color either.

I think he thought he could trick me into buying it because I am a girl lol. I knew more about the car than he did , he didn't even know that it had a M setting and I didn't either and we drove around the block in M until he realized the engine was struggling lol. The whole time I was driving it I was thinking this sounds and feels just like my cutlass ( my trans on the cut needs to be rebuild) and he wants me to pay what for it now ? lol

That is a horrible price! I would pay that for a 07 SPEED3, not a regualar 04 three. I assume that you are a girl from your pic so they are probly trying to take advantage of you since they think women don't know about cars.
