Front end clunking - What?

I am getting a clunking noise from the front left area only when in reverse. It gets more noticeable when the wheels are turned, even just slightly. It is fine in all forward gears and there is no vibration or other weird sounds even under hard acceleration. Any ideas on what it might be? How do you check CV joints? Or is this maybe gearbox related?

Sounds like a bad CV joint. Get under the front of the car and check the rubber boots around the joints for tears or rips.

Boots are all good.

It might be your bushings(which isn't really a big deal just annoying)

Is it a clunk noise or a clicking chattering noise? if its clunk maybe its wheel bearings like Maxx Mazda said......if its clicking chatter when your turning then its a good chance its your cv joint........
