Clarion MAX675VD. FTW!
I have the Pioneer Avic D3. Love how it looks and fits into the dash, AND it has GPS!
Sorry but the pic was taken with a camera phone.
hahah nice movie
u sure ur wife dont midn that u were watching that?
btw, did ur headunit just bolt on like that? or did u add something around it to make it look like it came like that from factory?
The problem with mine is that theres a lot of room around it so I have to get something to cover it.

daymn that looks mint!
where did u get the fittings around the unit? custom?
I recently got a double din jensen, and even tho its in, theres a hole around it that bothers me.
How in the hell do I get the stock unit out? It just does NOT want to budge. Crutchfield sent 4 DIN tools, but on the ones on the right/passenger side seemed to do anything. I couldn't get the left side to budge.
Get some one in to help and push on radio from behind while you keep trying to pull it out with the pins .I had the same promlem and when I pulled at the front I ripped the face plate off then after more work I got cut on my finger. After that I hit that damn thing with a hammer till I could see what was getting cought.once I found where my radio was snagging it pulled right out.

Where are you accessing it from behind to push? I couldn't figure out how to do that, either. The problem for me was that I could get the DIN tools to release the catches on the right/passenger side... and that side wanted to come right out. But for the life of me I couldn't get the left/driver's side to do a damn thing. I couldn't even get the DIN tools to find anything to release... they wanted to slide ALL the way in.
So I unless I take apart the dash, I'm just going to have to start pulling the old stereo apart layer by layer until I can see what the heck it's catching on.
Call Crutchfield support before breaking out the Sawzall.
It not bolted in, i did my mine myself...what i did is take off the glove box and there are cables for the ac, heat and stuff like that connected and you have to disconnect them and the hole front piece of the dash will come offI called them last night when I was trying to figure out if the stereo was bolted in in the back or something. The Technical Support guy was looking at the same instructions I was looking at. There's nothing more that they can do. The clips on the left/driver side are simply not visible for me to trip them and pull out the head unit.
