hey, when they're done cooking, cleaning, and taking care of the kids, she can drive what she wants on the way to the supermarket to get more diapers/groceries/etc.
Seriously, I think manual transmisions in a daily driver is overrated. I don't even drive stick daily. I sit in traffic. Stick shift is for the weekend/track car.
