gt3076r runing as of 9-28-07

sorry to put it bluntly there i dont wish on anyone crashing there car but if its the same diff i certainly wouldnt by it from the dealer. and there are people who part out there cars if they either got hit or in an accident its not uncommon.. in fact thats how a buddy of mine built up his Eclipse GS-T and then he converted it to AWD with all parted out parts on the DSM forums. u get more money for parting out your car then giving it to a junkyard.

where did you end up getting axles from? also how much if i may ask? turns out i think that paying the dealership $450 for an OEM CV axle is a joke...especially when i break another one another 6 months down the road ;(

i am going to fix the clucth first!

12.8...and a 12.9...and neither of us have a clutch....we got mine off and the flywheel is toast....there were pieces of the clutch on the floor according to Aric at the Protege Garage.

DAMMMM good luck with the 1 grand stock flywhee! my flywheel was good. waiting for the clucth to come in tomorrow!

dam usually flywheels dont take a beating like clutches do. but then again its a mazda flywheel, just like the axles, and the rods, and the rear diff, and the fuel pump and.....

a bigger GT3076 or GT35 would work amazing once the throttle plate issue is solved and the entire RPM band could be used.

This is EXACTLY why I told mike I'm going to get the GT35r...... because I wouldn't want to spend the money on the gt3076r and then spend MORE money further down the road on the gt35.

Once the throttle plate issue is resolved (this seems to be the BIGGEST problem for this car) there won't be any worry about losing boost, performance, etc.

With that said I'll be building the internals (connecting rods, pistons, crankshaft, etc) for the engine when everything is readily available, I'd like to purchase it all at once (already have 5 g's saved up for the parts)

and also the axles and driveline.....if they ever get around to that (so I don't have to spend extra on custom made crap), nothing worse than snapping one of those because of crazy torque.....

So mike how's your new turbo and clutch setup feeling? Did you buy the SPEC clutch right? what did you get? because I was thinking I would get the Stage 3+ when the time comes......

Mike how much did you pay for your axles?

You said you were ordering them with the clutch and a short shifter (and which TSW short shifter did you get? stage 2?)
