What have you done to your MSP today?

trap speed was 96.63. 60 time is 2.345... my friend said i should be at 2.2 for a good 1/4 mile. i should be able to do better the next time i go. i need motor mounts badly! im thinking of getting the inserts (becuase im low on cash as of right now) from corksport, the front and rears. or maybe the sls side mounts. any suggestions? wheel hop kills... not only the time but my car.

if you really want to save money and keep a little bit of drivability fill the front, and side mounts with window urethane and just get a rear insert from RR racing

I have the SU front and back mounts. Its not bad until I turn the A/C on or come to a stop. But honestly its not too bad. I can deal with it.

i have no problem with my mounts...the biggest annoyence right now is that it rattles my side exhaust on the side skirt when i come to a stop

you can always just get a solid 70 durometer front motor mount from awr. fill the sides and get the racing inserts for the rear.

That trap speed sounds weird. I ran a 14.9 at 95mph with an injen intake and mbc(that seemd to be causing my car to pull timing)

The only reason I would think it would pull timing is because of knock..

His trap seems about right for a low 14.. His 60' is just going to have to drop down alot to get that e.t. I ran a 15.0 at 93 with a shitttttty 2.4 60'..

just bought awr side mount inserts ($45), parents said they'll buy me the front mount because i claimed it was broken and cheaper for me to install it myself then go to a dealer

Well when I bought the car. I think the previous owner had the boost set at about 9-10 psi. And I remember I bought my car when it was cold outside and I hit fuel cut a couple times. Then I ripped that bad mbc off the car. But since then I have alot more mods. Similar to what that guy has. I am thinking my car should be faster than what he ran.

I raced a ms6 the other day from a stop. I though if he didnt blow me away right of the line with him being awd. Atleast he would pull away. I mean what are they a 13.9 car. I ran right with him all the way to 110. Surprised me. I mean even with a bad launch that car is pretty quick. Atleast thats my opinion.

quiet possibly it is... it was my first run ever on a drag strip.. i had to get used to it and only had 4 runs cuz of an accident... i also had alot of extra weight in the car. the car will b faster next time around, i know that for sure.

Well, it's gonna have to be a new block since there are two HUGE holes in the bottom end but i'm guessing it will be the Peuter rods and Arias pistons, most likely be getting the built block from SC

dude i hope to god you mean pauter rods and not "peuter" i think Pewter(Sp?) would melt in the second you turned on your engine haha.
