I didn't realize you had a system in the car... this car truly does kick ass. The thing that's probably holding up the sale, if anything, is the color. I kind of like it... adds to the sleeper image. but lets' face it... a lot of people want the 'show' to match the 'go'... and, if pressed, might lean more towards 'show'.

I was shootin the s*** with some dude that works at the gym earlier... he's like 20 and seems pretty down to earth. anyway, he's telling me he's saving for a mustang... I automatically assumed he was interested in the GT. When he told me he didn't care abotu performance and only wanted it for the looks I was shocked. I made me wonder how many others are like this.

I never did understand that whole rationale... I've owned all different types of colored cars... from boring to ridiculous. seemingly, my insurance rate was never affected.

11/11/07 is must sell by date

Guys, 11/11/07, is the must sell by date. I bought a new car and I need to transfer the tag from the protege to new car by this date. I have only 2 people expressing interest so far.

I have lowered the final sale price to $9000.

This price includes all the stocks parts unsold from my thread, "Cheap Stock 2002 Parts for sale" and the left over unsold parts from the Hiboost Standard Kit.

Speed Racer (Danny) is right, it was his protege that I saw at school that started my obession with building a sick protege. It was his dad who installed the Standard Turbo kit for me and built the 3" exhaust for me.

The car is sold

The car has been sold. I am happy to announce that the car will stay in the Hiboost family. Manuel, (Juan's brother) from TBK Performance, who did all the work and racing of the car has decided to buy it. I am very happy because now I can get to visit the car (my baby) and see her progress. Manuel is planning to take it to the next level and I will get to go to the tracks with him, I can't wait.

Thanks to all who expressed interest in the car. I really appreciate this.
