no they can. legally you just can't put another country's flag above the US flag in this country. i dunno how to explain the patriotism. There was no barely about it. that mexican flag was ontop of the US one. Try the exact opposite in Mexico. I'm sure you'll get the exact same outcome. I hope you aren't serious. How could you possibly advocate an American flag flying below a Mexican flag in the United States? Hypocritical my ass, if I went to Mexico and flew an American flag OVER the Mexican flag the same s*** would happen. Congrats to the guy who took action against that bulls***. If you love Mexico so much, stay there and help make it a better place. Don't come here and disrespect the country that took you in.

Its perfectly reasonable to represent your country in the United States, just do it respectfully.

The owner of the property made an unwise and illegal choice. Sure he could of simply been asked to correct it, but the guy who cut it down choose not to do so. Hell they won't even learn our language! We have to convert everything.....press 1 for english and 2 for spanish. Some forms have one side english and the other spanish. Food products are in english and spanish. Oh and the kicker. Convert the national anthem to spanish.
If you want to live in our country do it legally and have the respect to learn english.

You can't be serious, forget illegal, hell, flying the Mexican flag or any country's flag above the US one IN the USA is incredibly disrespectful. As for how the vet acted, I see no wrong, you don't know the back story here, I'm sure the owner was informed beforehand and did nothing. While I'm not Mexican, as an immigrant I am appalled. I would never disrespect this county's flag or the things it represents. (usa)

As for the private property comment... The sidewalk is not private property, and illegal is illegal regardless of where it is.

besides what would it matter if he spit on the mexican flag? hes not mexican. Plenty of non-american countries do worse to our flag on a daily basis. He could have taken a s*** on the mexican flag and still done less harm than people do to our flag.

more power to him. All he did was take the american flag back, he didnt hurt anyone in the process. The problem is there are too many people who dont respect our country, and too many people protecting the "rights" of those who dont respect our country.
