got pulled over. help !!!!!!!

i was driving late last nigh in connecticut. This road i was in had alot of hills, all of a sudden , my radar started beepin right after i reached the top of the hill. Before you know it, (321fu)Fukin cop pulled me ova....\

I was going 40 mph on a 25 mile hour zone. The cop told me that he clocked me at 41mph. He said he was doin me a favor by making it 40 mph on the ticket to save me some money... what a jerk.

Anyways, i've been drivin for 5 years, this is the first ticket i eva had, On the ticket, it says, "TRAVELING FAST" instead of "SPEEDING"

Question is , will this ticket give me a point ???

yeah, **** that cop for stopping you while you were speeding. the nerve of that guy. you were just minding your own business not doing anything wrong. except you were speeding. take it like a man and move on. you were at fault so, deal with it.

for your question, i'm not sure what state you live in, but can you take traffic school and not get points?

Ah...you were speeding and you got busted and you are mad at the cop? I can understand being mad at yourself, or upset you got busted, but you have no one to blame but yourself. It isn't like you were innocent or had to speed for some special reason. Ok...that said...

You are lucky in a way though. If you plead guilty to the ticket and pay it on time, CT will not give you any points. Read here:

I don't understand specifically why you're mad a the cop for dropping the ticket down. Many laws are written such that the fines go up at certain intervals, like 10, 15, 20 mph. He clocked you at 16 over and ticketed you for 15 over, he may very well have saved you $30 or so, like he said. Why does this make this "FUKIN cop" such a "jerk?"

Man up. You sped, you got caught. s*** happens. Pay the ticket, move on, don't expect sympathy around here when you can't take responsibility for your own actions. (bang)

On the other hand, if there was a cop in your car with you pushing down on the gas pedal and making you speed, well then I take back everything I said, FUKIN COPS!!!

the fact that you were clocked at the top of the hill even makes it worse.... You probably slowed down a little bit by the time you reached the top... If you were clocked at the bottom of the hill, i could understand why you'd be a little bit angry...

I thank everybody that answered my question in this tread, and for sum that assume that i was mad at the cop or just blaming the cop, it does't say that in my post. some of you even say this thread is stupid cuz all im doin is asking for sympathy for the stupid thing that i did to myself.

First of all , the reason for this thread is that this is the first ticket ive ever had , in 5 years while driving. i am 23 years old.I AM JUST ASKING IF THIS IS A POINT TICKET, THAT IS ALL. I dont have experience in TICKETS so i was just curious if anyone can educate me.

Third, if you guys really felt bad that i making names to the cops, im sorry, its just the expression that you say when you get busted, personally i don't hate cops or blame them, all i know is that they are doin their job.

lastly, i did forget to say it in my post , but heres another part of it

i AM from nj, i was just visiting my in laws in connecticut for the first time.
I am in deed hoped that the cop can at least realize that i am not from around the area and the least he could have done is givin me a break an give me a warning instead. thats probably the reason why i thought to myself he was a jerk. ya know ?

well i was accused of street racing, and speeding at the same time. I said i wasn't street racing but i was driving fast. i admitted i did 80mph in a 55 and the ticket was 104 bucks with no points.

ionno, i got lucky maybe but 143 bucks for that? sheesh.

"hey, i'm from new jersey and got a speeding ticket in connecticut. is there a way to handle this so i don't get points on my record?"

instead, you write your story about the "fukin cop" and "jerk" and then at the very end posted your question and still left room for "fukin cop"
