Raced one from a dig a few nights ago. There were 2 guys in the car and when we were done they both freaked out. We stayed side by side until around 80 then I started pulling away. I guess the guy had a lot of mods including a 3 inch electronic dump. His buddy wouldn't move away from my car saying over and over "I love this thing". It was a good night.

LOL SRT4's are hardly overrated. They would oftentimes put to the wheels what they were advertised to have for crank hp.

I think they're fine cars until you crash them. Then they (Neons) become death traps. Watching their crash test videos are scary to say the least.

Some people let what they drive get to them and get a big head about it. I had a friend that was really cool the whole time he drove a truck that he had, then he bought my friends srt and all of a sudden he runs his mouth constantly and nobody can stand him.

For some reason I get a lot of Charger R/Ts that want to play, next most numerous are Mustangs and SRT-4s. The MS3 is a real sleeper in the Louisville area and most drivers don't realize how quick the car actually is.
Yea most of them are cocky, but they got the right to be. You probably cant find a stock one easily and most of them are faster than the ms3. People here usually have a cai, some have cai/tbe and usually thats where it stops. Most skittles out there are running 13.5 and lower with bolt ons, so yea, when you race one, chances are you will get beat. lol
that just means he either didn't care enough to shift to a lower gear or he probably didn't know you were racing him. also I doubt he floored it in 6th, no matter what gear your in in that car as long as your hitting turbo, it'l move. i've pulled on plenty of stupid dudes playing with me without even bothering to shift out of 6th. I've also let plenty of people drive past me who probably thought "I just beat this guy! man my car is so fast, he didn't even know how to race"
-and yea srt's are way overrated, a few mods on an msp will beat one hands down. a friend of mine owns one at 50k and its basically falling apart. he's pissed cause they are selling for basically nothing now so he cant even get anything near his money back.

guess your friend doenst know how to care for a car. I sold my 04 srt with 88k miles and it was still in great condition. Its been making over 330whp for most of its life and still had strong, even compression. The car went to the strip at least once a month cutting loooooow 12's on slicks. Oh yea...and when i sold it i still got more than i owed.
back to the thread...yea alot of them are even dicks to fellow srt owners. Every car has folks like that....even had a few peeps in other ms3's do the same things

actually looks kinda nice on the outside. the interiors in those imo are garbage tho. 12's? soudns good to me. but def agreed on every car has its deutsche bags.

I own a 2005 SRT-4 ACR edition, I love it. I personally dont' consider myself a "dick", I am sure I have been called that though after I beat them.
My SRT-4 is on its way out and am planning on buying a speed3 here shortly, not because it is faster, because it surely isnt, but because all around it is the nicest thing I like now. I will miss my SRT-4, only raced 1 speed3, and smoked it bad, but again i am not stock:
