What have you done to your P5 today?

stupid ass camera phone grrr i cant remember whether i attached the undercarriage ones. you know that plastic piece in the front that's made of the same material as the mudflap but just thicker? is the undercarriage underneath that?

Oh btw its metal

now that i think about it i got all three mudflap and the two on each fender. I also got the two screws that also attach the ummm top grill or whatever. Where's the undercarriage ones? damn i shouldve cataloged them

i'll have to get pics later, but under the car, just behind the lil plastic protector thing that hangs down there should be 2 bolts that bolt the bumper to the metal down there

hey thanks again ams it was the undercarriage bolts. Good thing I decided to look cause I had forgot to tighten the plastic bumper guard or whatever it is and it was just kinda holding on by a couple threads lol.

changed my burnt out headlight bulb. Why don't they tell you that you have to remove that plastic adaptor and move it to the new bulb.

i got my protege back today :D :D :D
full run down of the $2256 i spent includes

lower control arms
adaptive 1 hybrid ceramic front pads
trustop organic rear pads
passenger side CV half shaft
remand alternator
overhauled transmission
serpentine belt
A/C & P/S belt
and a Napa Gold oil filter

hopefully i will have no more problems with the protege...for a LONG time

the only thing left to figure out is why the car stalls in reverse, itll shake real bad and then stall (it was doing it in drive earlier today but stopped) i know that the valve body has to build up pressure and all but still. any suggestions on that? im taking it back to the shop tomorrow for a look over to make sure everything else is good, so hopefully the guy i work with can figure something out, but id like to have some ideas before i go as well

oh yea. I am at 50k. The brake pads were probably changed before I bought the car a 34k miles right? I wouldn't still be on original gear would I?

i'm at around 50k and i still got the original brake pads. bought the car one yr ago wit about 49k. next to do thing is new brake pads xD

I just treated my car the worst it's ever been treated. Smelt like fire when I got done. I just practiced launching between 1,500-3,000 RPM. I am told around 2,500 while controlling the clutch is the best instead of the previous 5k I was dumping the clutch at.
