What kind of Taurus is it? I had a 93 SHO and I wish I kept it!!! Anyway, was it a pain tunin' ur car after u installed the turbo?

it's a 1993 taurus Gl. 65k on it! bought it for 500.00.

i haven't tuned the car yet. i gotta save up money to get some stuff beforehand. the car should be at the carlisle show.

And before I forget to ask, i know i need my motor mounts replaced. Also, my es pops out of 3rd gear. Would that have anything to do with the rear motor mounts?

lol. my taurus is beast. it's fugly..but dammit i think it's the best car ever. i just got on the blvd, and i saw a pro in front i was like oh cool. i want my pro done..and then i saw the side skirts. iw as like MOTHA FUCKA, that's derek. so i tried catching up and it was funny.

so what's the plan for this saturday. let me tell you what i have to do, and maybe you can plan around that so we can meet. cuz i know me, tara, my buddy korei and maybe his g/f wanna come chill..

i gotta tint tails on the pro at like 9 am. then, at like.. 3-5 pm i have to work for my g/fs dad. then i was planning on meeting you guys...

How dark are you tinting your tails? The whole tails, or just the clear strip? I decided to go a different route with the MSP tails, and I love them (who cares that my mechanic says why did you get pink tails?)

Hmm I didn't realize there was an interest. I will be at my friends shop tomorrow afternoon at 3. The weather may be so we could go grab a bite to eat afterwards. And Dave and Busters is only 10 minutes away for another option.

It's been a while, but I got my new suspension on this weekend.

Racing Beat front and rear Swaybar kit
New upper strut mounts
MSP bump stops

Before I forget, what's the piece called that runs under the bumper that you had to change when u switched to the 03.5 msp bumper? It's under the radiator (black plastic piece).

Are you talking about the bumper reinforcement?

It's the black piece that runs under the radiator from the bottom of the bumper and it's also connected to the tire well on both sides of the car. I can't find the link, but you told me I was gonna need one when i replaced my ES bumper. The bumper reinforcement has been changed, but since the msp bumper is lower, this particular piece isn't attached. I took a pic; I'll post it this evening...I think it's some kind of splash guard.

Um, all I replaced was the bumper reinforcement in the front. I'm pretty sure the shop didn't cut anything either, they would have charged me for it.

I stopped using it except for shows. I live in the country now, and my tires get dirty every time I go down the gravel driveway.

Car feels well planted in turns and when accelerating. Less body roll too

I forgot to give props where they were due. Thanks to Ken and Rob @ protegegarage for getting all the suspension parts for a great price (my mechanic was happy the exhaust gasket was included) and thanks to Kooldino @ Speedcircuit for recommending the Espelir springs. I love the even wheel gap
