AWR Endlinks Finally Quiet

Brian,
I have seen this thread, and am grateful for the PM, but I have already gotten rid of the AWRs, I tried the heavier plastic green garden hose grommets...worked for awhile. I think it is just poor engineering to begin with. Ever since I went back to OEM, I have been happy, because I knew evolv was coming out with AXR endlinks. (cannot wait) Thanks for filling me in, anyway! :)

Cool, I change mine every time I do basic maintenence so yeah this is certainly not a perfect fix.

Tony lists these as meant for a racetrack and I believe that is why he didn't work out the noise..

I just was reading an old thread and noticed that you were having problems.

Just installed these AWR endlinks on my rear suspension. Probably a stupid question but I am hoping you guys can clariy since I don't see it stated anywhere. Do I tighten the bolts to the struts all the way or just enough to get close to the rubber gromet without compressing it?

It will have to be very tight to not make noise.

The grommet will crush but last for a year. I normally replace them every spring..

Thanks. Forgot to ask, did you still use those conical washers? They seem to get suck into the grommet when you tighten it.
