WTF, my ABS light is on!!!!!!!!!!

ok, i was leaving wal-mart tonight, n what do i see when i turn my car on, MY ******* ABS LIGHT!!!!!!!! I have no idea why its on. I called my friends dad, who works for cadillac, n he said that my car being lowered "might have tricked the speed sensor, or that the sensor might have come undone".

Now how in the ******* world do i fix this s***, cause there is nothing worse then staring at a light the entire time your driving.

Reset the ECU. Unhook your batt for a few seconds, then hook it back up. Let the car Idle for 10 minutes (so the ECU can learn the idle airflow again) The light should go out

isnt the ABS light goin to come right back on then?

Not if the speed sensor is just tripped. It will reset it, If its disconnected, then yeah , it will come on. It beats a trip to the dealer to do the same thing.

If it comes back on, then you know you got an issue somewhere else then just a tripped speed sensor.

I'm not sure how lowering your car is sipposed to trip the speed sensor. Sounds like BS to me. Now, if it came off, that's another story.

no, not at all. Resetting my computer didnt do anything n its too damn hot outside to try n fix anything.
