Just got the shift knob this morning.....thanks tphskab! I like it alot....the looks, feel, everything. The Mazda 3 shift knob bolted right up to my Protege no problem.

I'll take some pics tonight. You 3 guys are lucky....it is a very nice shift knob. Surprised by how heavy it is compared to the Protege shift knob.

tphskab - here are the pics of your Mazda 3 shift knob in my 1999 Protege. I love the way it feels and the looks of it. Looks great in my opinion. Thanks again!

Edit: Please excuse the dirtiness of my car. As you can see the old 99 Pro is begining to show her age. I definately need to get my carpet washed and get some new floor mats. My wife also spilled some coke in my drink area, and it isn't coming out very easily (as you can see). Then we also have a dog that sheds like a mofo.....so everything on the inside is in serious need of a deep, hard cleaning.
