Would this exhaust fit?

yeah it'll fit.....sort of. the p5 rear bumper is shorter than ours. but not to worry, all you have to do is just cut the piping right before the muffler and then get a muffler shop to weld on some straight pipe and you're set. the important (and tricky) part is that bend over the axle. however, do you really wanna go with 55mm (2.165") piping? that's awfully small....

on a side note, the hks exhaust comes out angled up and to the side, jdm style.....that's the tricky part for most muffler shops to do....i like the look but the piping's too small for me :(

YS,

If you look in the b/s/t forum here you'll find that Chris @ SPD is selling this exact same exhaust setup for $240 shipped versus the $285 shipped you'd pay.

Something to consider, I know I am right now.

Thanks. I dunno if i wanna get that small piping either but for money issuses i might. How much do you guys think it would be to have a muffler shop make a custom axle-back? It seems like it would be a lot because of the bends that it has but I haven't checked any prices yet.

the stuff gets pretty expensive once you put it all together. if you do it right with stainless steel piping and all...it'll cost about the same as the top manufacturers....sometimes more. i'm not sure of the bend that goes over the axle....i think it's just a 45 degree bend over it....if want the jdm look with the muffler slanted, either 2 180 degree bends cut to form an "S" or what i thought of was maybe just a straight pipe with a small curved section at the end to point the muffler up and out. talk to some muffler shops and see what they can do/recommend.
