Wiper mod problem

I just put in the MPV wiper stalk into the P5 and noticed the washers do not work. Has anyone come across this problem?

what year wiper stalk did you throw in? was it new or from a junkyard?

is it both the front and back washers that dont work or just one of em?

I bought the wiper module from mazdastuff. It is brand new for a 03 MPV. The rear washers work fine but the front ones do not work at all.

i havn't done this mod but it is on my to-do list. sorry i cant be of much help =( anyone else??

if no one else responds check your connections again. it wasn't too much trouble to take apart the center console

I had no problems. I bought mine used and took it apart and cleaned it... works perfectly... did you make sure it was pluged in all the way?

elemental..what year stalk did you get?

Here is what you do....FIRST off....verify the part you got is Mazda part number GE6V-66-128. that is the correct stalk....if that is the part you have. then take the column cover off again and put your ORIGINAL stalk back on and check to see if the washers work. if it does...then put the new one back on and try it again...if it still does not work...there is a problem with your new stalk and I would return it. if not...then its a problem with your washer pump.
