Know exactlyyyyyyy what youre talking about! Tinted windshield 50% and it worked perfect. I think even a 35% or 15% or even 10% would dramatically help.
I drove down to Indy this week (~550 miles round trip), including several hours driving almost directly into the setting sun. Noticed some glare off the top of the dash, but not as bad as I've seen in other cars.
Polarized glasses virtually eliminate all glare. Invest in a pair.
