Where to put the vacuum line for boost gauge

Hey guys how's it going? I'm new here and just bought a msp a few weeks ago. So I'm trying to put a boost gauge on and I'm not sure where to t it off at? Should I t it off at the manifold or by the bpv? I tried both and it seems like I get a higher vacuum at the manifold but neither one is giving me good boost. I think I may be getting 2 or 3lbs. Could I have a leak even though the vacuum is reading around 20? Thanks for any help.

You could have a boost leak somewhere. Check your intercooler piping, if it's still the plastic stuff, check for cracks, and if it's aftermarket, check the couplers.

you will always get a stronger reading at the manifold which is ultimately the best spot. The closer to the manifold, the better. Yes, you can have a boost leak and read near perfect vacuum. Get a boost leak test done
