oh, and the calipers had some white silicone or something in them. so I had to bleed that out of it.

The brake line was in the way of the caliper bolt, so I had to remove the brake line from the caliper to get it off.

So what you're saying is you had the 1 Protege on the planet with the special "brake lines interfering with the caliper bolt" issue...

I had the same problem as the OP with the springs. But, before I got all huffy, I picked up my phone and asked my good friend google! Which led me here. Had it figured out in about 2 minutes! So thanks!!!! (2thumbs)
