I'm now embarking on changing my fuel map via my SSAFC. I'm watching the wideband and, for starters, and I'm trying to figure out when Closed Loop kicks in. I'm paying attention to when the fuel suddenly leans out (I'm assuming that's when the ECU might be switching to Open Loop) and I see some patterns, but...
....it be nice to know what, exactly (besides my crude observations), causes the ECU to go into Open Loop. Meaning, at what:
- RPM ?
- Throttle position ?
- vacuum/boost level ?
- some temperature reading?
- (have I missed anything?)
... or maybe a combination of some of the above.
Is there like an "ECU goes into Open Loop" map/diagram anyone knows about? If not, anyone's knowledge/experiences in that matter would be much appreciated.
