Wheel bearing replacement and alignment?

I can't seem to find anything on this, but does the alignment have to be done after the bearing is replaced?

If you did something that means you need a wheel bearing replaced on a P5 already, I'd think whatever that is would also be reason for an alignment.

I also had an older car that had a wheel bearing wear out. I needed an alignment then, too. The bearing could have increased the alignment problem and vice versa.
