eMKay, is this is what is referred to as autocross i'd love to get into that, looks like tons of fun. :D i wanna try out the mods without jonny law writin me up!! how did you get involved?

(yippy) Let's see...my p5 goes to church (sometimes), then home, then if she's lucky, she gets to go out and play in the curves before retiring early so she's rested for the morning commute.

LOL(sleep)

No, it stresses tires and to a lesser degree, brakes and bushings, all wear items that will be replaced by yours truly once a year. The bushings on these cars don't last long anyway.

so how does your protege handle on the track? have you raced it or compared it to other cars at the track?

happy zoom zoom:)

Handles very well, with race tires understeer is reduced and handling is pretty neutral, it will still understeer but it's easy to get the back end to rotate by trail braking. The car really shines in slalom sections because it takes a set very quickly and can be drifted around the cones. with the R compound tires the back end does have a tendency to hop a little in a bumpy corner though, our last event was on a bumpy lot and the next one is on the same lot. Once my home region starts up (May 25th) I will get a true test because the lot we use the most is very smooth and grippy. I am the current H stock points leader in the finger lakes region SCCA (after 2 events) so it competes very well in HS.
