What's up with my ABS?

As most of you prolly know, I just recently got my car back. Everything seemed ok, even after my very-anal and overly meticulous inspection of the damn car. Then, as I am driving home from school on I-95, my damn ABS light blinks on.:wtf:
I was really freaked by this, cuz it never happened b4 the accident. Also, my brakes are acting wierd. It kinda feels like a rotor is warped or something, like the car is lagging or eneven as it decelerates.

Today, I noticed that, on my way to school, the ABS light came on when I reached 80-85mph, and stayed that way until I turned off the car and let her sit for awhile. Then, all seemed normal. So I tested this theory again on my way home. Bingo, at about 80mph, on goes the light. Anybody have this problem before? What has that friggin' body shop done to my baby?!?! Thanks.

sounds like a bad or dirty ABS sensor to me, could be wrong though, I know they are very sensitive to metal, or little shavings that might get magnetically attracted to them

possible that their overheating? My preludes abs light would come on in the winter, on really slippery roads where the abs was constantly kicking in and working really hard.

I highly doubt this, but, I thought I'd mention it.

hey newf and mikebluep5, thanks for the help....

...however, I doubt they are overheating, because it happens when I am on a straight-away, and most likely accelerating, not braking.

I dunno.

When you get to the gym, head up to the cardio section and use the medicine balls, they really help get the ABS worked without doing massive back damage.

If you have a worn or sticky caliper, that might explain why your braking feels different now than it did before.
If this is the case, then the ABS sensor would be recording all this, and going that fast might triger the light.
I'd have it checked, at no cost to you.
