Random wire with what looks like a cut end sitting below the intake, it looks like its part of the wiring harness for the transmission. Any clue what its for?

SECOND IGNITION WIRE BLACK/RED Ignition Harness your second pic shows wat appears to be the same color wire attached to the gauge sensor it looks butchered.. probably either had an alarm system sloppily installed or wiring issues
