Hello,

I have some Koni FSDs that I am planning on installing on my new old MS3 sedan (2005) and I wanted to see what spring people are matching with them on their cars. I have only had the car for about a month, so this is the first mod on this car.

Currently I am think that I will either go with the Racing Beat springs (1st choice) or the Megan Racing springs (close 2nd choice).

Thanks!

I heard the FSDs are "matched" with Eibach Prokit springs. But its your choice. Whether you want more handing or more drop.

Yeah, the FSDs are known to run well with the Prokit per Koni's design... I have never really like the idea of progressive spring rates. I prefer a more consistent rate design.

As far as drop goes I wouldnt mind a 1.5ish drop, which the Megans will give with a rate of 250 front & 230 rear, but Racing Beat makes great products with a 0.6 inch drop and a 20% increase in rate, which would mean a different wheel/tire combo.

I guess that I am just conflicted.

...also... The Megan's are $159.95 from Megan's website and the Racing Beat's springs are $195... the Eibach's... $230ish

I have my Eibach Sportlines, SPC camber arms and now Im jus wating for my Koni Yellows, they should be here tomorrow. Cost about 900 for everything.

Very nice! That will be a great set up xMazdax! I ran the Yellows, stock springs, SPCs, AWR endlinks, and a COBB sway bar in the back only on my MS3. It was a great set up for a DD.
