I'm not going to say what my RX-7 gets.
Hehee... Naw, it gets about 12mpg, on average. But hasn't been driven in a looong time, now. =/
what's the matter with your 7?flat_black said:I'm not going to say what my RX-7 gets.Hehee... Naw, it gets about 12mpg, on average. But hasn't been driven in a looong time, now. =/
FC turboII's always run rich I have found that using the S-AFC and leaning it out a little you get more power and better mpg.flat_black said:I sent the turbo off to be rebuilt, and just got it back a while ago, after it started snowing. D'oh! So, once summer rolls around, I'll have it all done. The reason it guzzles gas, though, is the Racing Beat exhaust, and boost controller set up for a tad more boost (9psi). =) Nothing more than I expected, though.

Yup, flat-black do you drive by shifting 1-3-5 to save gas? hehe. j/k.flat_black said:Man... I get 34mpg on Sunoco 89 octane, with my header, exhaust, intake and all... And I drive like a nut. =)

hi-perf said:the fact you have an automatic transmission doesnt help you when comparing to peoole with manuals that can actually control what gear their car is in.
like others have said i can go 1-3-5 in traffic and pretty much go into my overdrive gears at 30mph ie: in 5th gear if i wanted to.
its really all about driving and the driver. sure i would redline in first gear sometimes when trying to merge into fast traffic and whatnot but i wouldnt be racing from every stoplight i go to or go 100mph on the freeway, though i have been getting close to it on some occasions.
