Thanks a lot man, this will be my second time going over there and luckily I'm getting out of the military when I get back. My unit is going right back out 8 months after we get back this time. But oh well, I gotta do what I gotta do. I will most def still be on the forum while I'm over there though.

started sanding and filling my RH's. to my own fault and some of the previous owner, one or two of them had completely chewed up lips that ill have to rebuild with fill and one that isn't so bad. one is perfect, making it the benchmark for my sculpting efforts.

here's hoping the damn tire mounting machine doesn't F them up when i'm all done..

Gonna go for the Pearl white cut with transparent white for a clean look with just a little shimmer. then the lip will be painted hyper silver with ghosted "Mazdaspeed" Text the whole way around in a slightly hyperer hyper silver.
haven't decided on a trim stripe yet but was thinking of seperating the two contrasted colors with sparklescent mango or tequila yellow stripes, bolded in black outline.

nah. all the colors are created using off the shelf auto air colors. $150 in paint for the 4 wheels w/clear.

got it at auto body supply shop. was like $17

air dries in minutes but i would leave it a while if your building up more than a pinhole amount of it. sticks though. there is a peice of it on my driveway i cant get off.

Got my DG lip and put it on. I wasn't impressed with the shipping(getting it folded in 3 pieces was a surprise), or the fact it has no pre-drilled holes. Over its a sturdy lip and will take the slam abuse that will be administered once i get my coilovers/new smaller wheels.

Im about to change my trans fluid, it says to replace the washer on the drain plug. Has anyone reused the stock one or should i replace it?

I reuse mine each time, no issues so far after two changes.

Washed it again then decided to buff it with speed glaze and hand apply carnuba wax.
