GTI with the DSG has crossed my mind on numerous occasions, i hope they get the expected bump (at least +40hp/tq) in power for the next gen -- 200 is not enough.
Yeah, I think I would go DSG. The ED35 is 235. My friend at Stasis says intake, turbo back exhaust and a tune will get you over 300whp from the stock 210.
It is filthy, but got everything complete yesterday:
DNP Turbo manifold, Tial QR Cp-e BPV kit, CP-e recirculation tube, redid my turbo inlet and intake connections, SURE Vent-Port on the intake, Autotech Fuel Pump Internals, and SURE ShortCut. It was a job, but damn I am happy so far. Car sounds great from what i can tell, but I have to nurse it around for the first 100 miles while the fuel pump gets broken in. All in all, very pleased.
Changed the mid-chassis brace to a lighter CorkSport unit and had urethane exhaust hangers installed. While at the exhaust shop, a leak was found where the racepipe and the CBE meet. The connection needed tightening. Finally, that rattling was located and repaired!
Installed Cobb knob and received my rear brake pads. I guess those go on this weekend. I also need to install my camber arms and adjust front and rear camber.
