weird timing issues

yep I have an Obd scanner that can record info. Its a Launch CReader VI. Ive done 1 log with it and have it saved.

well i replaced the plugs with oem ones gapped @ .030 and also replaced the primary o2 which got rid of that code. i also noticed that sometimes i start the car and once my wideband warms up, im idling around 16.8-17.1 which is lean. i then blip the throttle or let it idle and it eventually smooths out to 14.7

man i really don't know what the issue is at this point then. have you tried resetting ecu? if you can't get it to go away maybe grab an mpi tuner to control your timing? wish i could be of more help.

edit: are you still throwing a code for the downstream o2 sensor?

yes, i have my wideband in there and have used an analog output and teed it to the ecu, but i guess its only throwing a code because the sensor isnt plugged which means its not a completed circuit

I would put the stock 02 sensor back in there downstream and reset the ecu. I know even though its just supposed to check the cat, it can cause problems as well. Keeping it close to stock on the sensors will help make troubleshooting easier cause your not adding variables into the equasion.

so ive noticed the problem to be more frequent. my timing with cold start sits around 12 deg, but after it warms up, it sits around -4. i noticed my coolant temps are around 207-209 (according to my obd bluetooth and torque app). is this too high? i also noticed that when im idling, it says my tps is at 11%, but before i was turboed, it read correctly @ 0

I noticed that too....mine says 11% just idling. My timing is running 6-12 positive at idle, if I blurt the throttle I can see it dip into the negatives and then I see like 28. Its strange, I dont see any reason at all a car should ever go negative timing. I now had some water screw my Maf up and now even with a new one I cant even drive my car anymore it chucks so bad. Driving me nuts so fed up with it. I now put 550cc injectors in....it dont like that when I go down the road now without a tune for them lol.
