Weird Heat coming from between front seats?

just bought a p5 yesterday, was driving down the highway with the ac on and noticed this funny warmth... using my hand i found that it was most prominent right behind the manual shifter against the plastic... haven't taken the plastic off yet but does anyone have any ideas? it's really noticeable when the sunroof is open...

That is heat radiating off of your exhaust. Check your heat shields if it is bothering you.
