wastegate issue???

Ok so basically I just bought my black mica MSP about a month back and everything has been great with the exception of the rust that I unfortunatly overlooked before I bought it.

But anyways it is pretty much bone stock with the exception of an injen CAI, and it only has 70k. I'm new to the forums so if I am in the wrong spot or need more info just let me know!

The problem at hand-
The other night I did a hard pull from the bottom of second to the top of third, and after I slowed down and began to accelerate again I was getting sporadic boost and a constant whistlenoise once I got it to boost again.

Basically my question is... Is this a symptom of a stuck wastegate? In my opinion it sounds stuck open since the whistle is down low by the WGA.

Let me know what you guys think, I won't have money to replace anything for a month or so, so let me know of any quick fixes or any tests I should do to identify if this is a bad situation. If need be I can borrow my step brothers car

Blow into the vacuum line where it's attached to the WGA it may be a hole in the diaphragm. Maybe use the search button too.

One question though if its a hole in the diaphragm and its not opening my wg wouldnt that mean my turbo is being majorly overworked and overboosting?

Do you think I should even drive it like this? I have been in a little panic since this happened

It's easy to know if there's a hole or not just pull the vac line off of the manifold or where ever yours is coming from and blow into the line. if it leaks then its gone. As long as you don't go into boost you should be fine. Which means don't put your foot down lol

when blowing into the vacuum line if it hold pressure the its OK?

if you can't blow through it, its probably fine. Do you hear the whistle while idling or just in boost? The sporadic feeling you are talking about it is probably hesitation due to the stock tune. You could also have a loose clamp on one of your IC pipes. The stock plastic pipes are known for that after a while.
