gosh, so many unreliable replies.

The main difference are the extra features that come with each turbo timer. The actual "turbo timer" itself is the same, but there are some extra the blitz dual TT, the hks type 1, and the apexi have. Of course, each line has the base turbo timer (blitz Fatt tt, HKS type 0, etc) but they better versions have more features

Blitz Dual TT- built in Boost Gauge as well as turbo timer

Hks Type 1- Shift light/beep, voltmeter, 0-60 measurer, quarter mile timer, Eigth of a mile timer, digital speedometer/tachometer, stopwatch function.

Greddy- Stopwatch function/Turbo timer only

Apexi- if i recall correctly, Air fuel gauge built in as well as turbo timer

i dont have a turbo timer so i have been letting the car idel a bit before shutting off. Is this necesary?

yes and no. the turbo is water cooled so you don't necessarily have to though mazda recommends it and i'm sure other people would too. i do cause i don't like the idea of letting a hot turbo just sit there. i also don't plan on getting a turbo timer...i'll stick with the manual kind and save myself a $100

It comes in black, as well. The balance is really quite nice, with the silver.
