Getting very noticeable loss of power between 3500 and 4000 rpms. I have plenty of power and hear the turbo spool up to about 3500 rpms, then I don't hear anything and I have very odd shifts in power, after I pass 4000 rpms the power returns constantly and I can hear it spool again. Any reasons you think its doing this?

Yup. There is. This is normal for this car if you haven't changed the tune.
