Well i drove up to Traverse city, Michigan with 5 of my guys and my car was one we took (By the way Mazda MP3's were not meant to go down a ditch into a field with 4 foot high weeds) but anywho. there was 6 of us teens and all was goin good until the last night when my friend and i got into a battle with our airsoft guns, then i get a BB shot in my eye. Yeah it sucked my vision was ****** but hey i figured it'd be fine the next day for the 5 hour drive home...NO. It still sucked and my friend had to drive my car. I called my mom to tell her that i got hit by a stick and i need to see a doctor. Soo that day we went to an eye doctor and she told me i have a bruised EYE BALL with internal bleeding and everything in my eye is not where it is supposed to be. I have an increased risk of glaucoma and cataract, and if i get what they call a re-bleed those things get an even higher risk and i could go blind. So until sunday i cant do anything, except sit on my ass at home. I CANT EVEN DRIVE MY CAR. I miss it soo much and its been 2 days since i've driven it. THIS SUCKS.

yeah at the moment its really a mental thing like holy s*** i could blind. And just today she said i might need glasses which is another low blow. cuz i've always had 20/20 and i like it like that. But yeah i realized real guns are a whole s*** load safer than air soft. cuz you dont go around shootin your friends with real guns.
but anyway, i had glaucoma and you either just take drops to control it or you can get a surgury (which i did) to relieve the pressure.sorry man.... good luck with everything. I stopped doing stupid stuff like that a long while ago. I remember many times when I could have really gotten hurt but didn't.... and I am thankful that I am still ok. I really hope things get better for ya.... I know you are probably regreting it a ton.

yeah, i woke up today and i could see 2 inches further than i could the day before. i go to the doctors on friday and i just hope i improve even more, glasses arent that bad but when you've had perfect vision and your the only one in your family who has/had perfect vision getting glasses is a blow.
Chances are you may have had a slight retinal detachment. If so, not good. That could lead to a true retinal detachment. It does sound like its healing up though.
If you develop a traumatic cataract that's easy to take care of. But your young and your eyes may not be fully developed. That may require cataract surgery. Not a big deal. Good surgeon can do the whole procedure in less than ten minutes. Because of your age you may need a second surgery since your eye may not be fully developed. Chances are slim though. They'd take out the lens from the first surgery and just put a second one in. And the good thing is, you don't develop a cataract ever again. Once its gone, its gone for good.
If its glaucoma, hope and pray it resolves quickly. You do not want to be on those drops for an extended time. There's also a chance the surgery won't give you the best results. Because of your age again you may do very well with the surgery.
Personally, I think you'll be fine as long as your retina doesn't detach. Even then its not the surgery, its the recovery. Given the fact your sight is getting better, I wouldn't worry too much. I hope I didn't scare you too much but I don't sugarcoat things like this too well. Good luck.

yeah i'm past the critical stage where a re-bleed could happen so i'm glad for that but i'm still trying to get in the mind set of possibly having glasses. On another note i dont think i'll have a prob with glaucoma....I partied hard with Mary and her sister Jane (rockon)
