if only i had a million dollars! I have read and drooled over that car since it was quoted as being the fastest production car by road and track or some s***. Damn thing comes with gold plated tools! Crazy, back then there were only a few in the states, like 3 to be exact, Ralph Lauren had one with another on order and some guy in texas had one, the one they used in the test. Lucky punk.

The McLaren Road Car is truly amazing. It 'still' holds the record of 240 miles per hour over any other production car. Andy Wallace (Sports car racing ace), ran this speed at the VW test facility in Germany. They removed the limiter, and the the rear elevating wing to accomplish this. Only about 53 were every built for the street. The remaining 40 odd amount were strictly built for racing.

The driver sits dead center, and there is a seat to his left and his right. Gordon Murray; the designer, wanted this car to be as close to a true racing car as possible. He chose the BMW V12 because he knew he could extract over 90hp per liter from this engine. Also; he wanted it to keep the car as traditional as possible - so no turbocharging or supercharging.
It is so advanced; that the entire chassis and body is carbon fiber, and it is essentially completely hand made. And yes; that is actual gold foil surrounding the engine compatrment, to keep the heat in.

Oh thats definitly gonna need some LED windsheild washer lights and some tireflys. Now thats a STUNNA ! FELLA. Oh and were's the TYPE-R Decal ? answer me that it can't be that fast it's not TYPE-R. And no triple decker aluminum wing with CF end peices. JEEZ what a lame excuse for an exotic car.

Having been a Blackadder fan for almost 15 years, I find it simply WRONG to think of Rowan Atkinson in a McClaren F1....
Especially after the Mr Bean episode with him driving the Mini (rofl)
