there must be another car that has similar parts to the p5

because i keep seeing people with certain parts (like a guy in the canada protege club that has rocket exhaust but if you go to their site it only mentions rx7s)...can someone help me out here?

Generally, when you take an OEM part off a nearly new car, you want the part that you install to be an upgrade and not junk. When you take off a stainless steel exhaust system, anything better is going to cost a few $$$.

There are many distributors of quality aftermarket parts, and they all correctly fit the cars they were designed for. If it says it fits a Protege 5, it probably does, and conversely, if it doesn't mention the P5, it probably wasn't made to fit one.

One thing they ALL have in common is you won't find ANY of them listed in the J. C. Whitney catalog

that is a distinct posibility.....as you will find guys/gals in this sport CUSTOMIZING stuff all the time...in order to have something different from everyone else....

OR then again....its intirely posible that the website for the exhaust system you are looking at is NOT updated....try using the "contact us" link and writing the company and asking them if they make a system specifically for the P5
