I've been on other boards where people pay like $1.00 or something to have a new smiley submited. It helps out to pay for the boards, it also pays for the lil bandwidth a new smiley will take up. Just supports the boards is all, and u get a new smiley some boards ive seen have it where your name is replaced with a small smiley/avatar/pic so when people quote you or say your name your personal smiley/avatar comes up, its kinda neat.
