now I've had 2 other miatas, this generation before. for some reason this one gets extended stares, pointing, and lots of people turning all around in traffic just to get a look at him.

Sweet Miata...I remember when the 10th anniversary Miata was sitting in the showroom of my local dealer a few years ago.

Just curious....are you going to tow a small trailer with Auto-x tires or a Jet Ski? Or did the trailer hitch come with it when you got it? Nevermind...If I read a little more carefully I would have seen it in your list of specs.

it's okay...the hitch is an aftermarket one. But I would rent a jetski before I'd ever buy one...that could be more money for car goodies....

Oh, I don't mind. I got him for $16,400. That's high retail for a 99 10AE. Of course you can pick up a non-anniversary 99 miata for around 14K. I think I did rather well since the car only has 56K miles, and I got all the extra goodies like spare wheels/track tires, rollbar (that would have been around 1K to get installed), a professionally installed hands free cell kit (~$150 new), and the autoX trailer!

Oh, I already am turnin the twisties! the 1st weekend I had him our club had a run. Even though it was raining, we still hit the twisties, just not as fast. I love my die-hard club members.

Oh, and the Toyo T1-s tires are the best wet handling performance tires I have ever had!

Oh yah, and the Mazda decals are Official Mazda Sponsorship decals. I am not removing them because I like em. Makes me feel proud.
See, I bought the car from a friend in the miata club. He is a very good autoXer and got Mazda to sponsor the car. So I have to keep the car's reputation going. I can't wait to start autoXing! We're gonna take Pogo too. The first one is this sunday.
