i made the mistake of buying gas at 7-11 on monday. lets just say somethings fishy, im thinking to save money, theyre pumping low octane out of the regular unleaded pump because after i filled up, my car seems really slow and i know its not just the wieght of the gas. DONT BUY GAS at 7-11, i found the gas at Albertson's to be the best so far.

cheap gas suxxors. like pilot. even though its 20 cents cheaper the car just doesnt seem to like it.

maybe its psychological, i have no idea.

its like the quicky mart in Simpsons.

kinda am/pm ish, but most/ alot dont have gas.

wtf...you don thave 7-11 in houston? all ours are open 24 hrs and all of them have gas. california is a whacked out place.

We have them all over here in Austin and all have gas. I can't imagine a 7-11 without gas. Weird.

Any experiences with Racetrac? They're exceptionally low on gas, but I've never been concerned with quality until now that I'm looking at getting the MSP..

most gas comes from the same place believe it or not
the only difference is some of the additives that Shell, BP, and Citgo may add at there distribution centers

The cheap gas in Georgia is Kroger. Incase you haven't heard of Kroger (b/c not everywhere has them), they are grocery stores that opened up their own gas stations next to the stores. That gas is cheap as hell, i guess i should've seen it coming being .03-.10 cheaper than regualr gas.

7-11's in Japan don't have gas but they have yummy riceballs and box lunches and instant noodles.

7-11's in Northern NJ don't have gas. Citgo was cheap until Venezuela got crippled, so now I goto Sunoco and use my 4% rebate Sunoco MasterCard. Y'all should look into the rebate cards.

Exactly. 7-11, food stores, and other 'quicky marts' dont hav etheir own refineries... they all buy from the major oil refineries... and beleive it or not, PetroCanada for example will buy from Imperial Oil and vice versa... the ONLY difference is in ADDITIVES... NOT octane nor/bad batches. All gas has to fall in within boundaries before it can be sold. Additives such as detergents for your fuel injectors, additives to keep ou gas lines from freezing etc are what you are paying for at the 'big boys' gas stations. Dont be fooled..... 7-11 8X octance gas is the same as Shell 8X octane gas. The only advantage, as stated before, is the additives for your engine and its parts.
