tell me what you think of this system, so far

ok heres what ive got planned. im going to switch out the head for an alpine cda-9805. then im going to have a jl 10w0 powered by an alpine MRP-M200 amp. i havent made up my choice about speakers, but i was thinking of powering them with a jl 300/4 amp. whaddya think?

also, if i use the single din pocket mentioned in the sticky at the top of this forum, does that pop right into place for my new head? or do i have to make any modifications? also, with that 4 channel amp, can i still use stock speaker wiring? if not, what is the easiest way to go about getting new wires from the head unit to the speakers?
thanks.

I wouldn't use the stock wires with a 300/4. Its a little to much for the factory wiring allow I have personaly been guilty of doing worse.

Nothing easy about new wires since the doors molex connections have to be drilled out. But it is possible i did it.

I would Use th 9807 instead though.

if you don't want the pocket at all you can just use the dash kit available for it now.

wahts the biggest amp i could use for the speakers without having to replace factory wires? also, what wattage for this amp would be the best match with the mrp-m200 going to the sub? im trying to keep a low budget, and looking for something a little cheaper than the 350 for the jl 300/4.
thanks!

The JL 300/4 is $499. Anyhting else other then retail on JL and its fake or no warrenty at all. If your internet or Ebay hacking get other brands.

I don't like to exceed 50 watts rms through factory wires.

For the Alpine MRP-M200 you want a sub that is a 2 ohm load otherwise you don't get its power. However a W0, even though you can only get them in 4 or 8 ohms, will do the job or better yet 2 of them.

Since your already doing Alpine match it will the MRP-F200, Its no where near the power of the 300/4 but it will do nicely.
